Stacy Cohen is an experienced Speech Pathologist working with both preschool and school-aged children and their families. Stacy has special interests in the treatment of children with speech and language delays, developmental delays, mealtime management issues as well as children with Complex Communication Needs (CCN) associated with physical and developmental disabilities, apraxia of speech and Autism Spectrum Disorders. Qualifications include: BA (Psychology and Linguistics); MsC (Speech Pathology). Additional training includes: Hanen ‘It Takes Two to Talk’; PECS; PROMPT (level 1 and 2) therapy
Stacey is a Victorian Keyword Sign (Makaton) trainer and a National Presenter in the use of Pragmatic Organisational Dynamic Display (PODD) communication books, developed by Gayle Porter through The Cerebral Palsy Education Centre (CPEC). Stacy works part-time at CPEC and the remaining time in her private practice.
